Circles
Circles are used to help create visual consistency within individual communication materials and across the spectrum of University communications, but their use is not required. When they are used circles do not need to be applied to every page of a multi-page printed publication or every page of a Web site, but often enough that all communications are recognizable as part of the same visual brand identity.
- On the Web, circles can be used as a featured graphic element.
- Portions of a circle, such as a half circle or similar technique, may be used when applying this element.
- Shapes similar to, but not true circles, such as ovals, do not meet the brand identity standards.
