Core Colors
Use of the University's official colors, Crimson (PANTONE® 201) and Gray (PANTONE® 431 or 65 percent black), are critical when reproducing the University signature. (PANTONE® 431 or black are the preferred alternatives when budget or context prevent use of the official two-color scheme.)

Do not rely on the output produced by a desktop color printer for matching the color to be attained when a project is printed on a printing press. The color calibration of desktop printers typically does not match the PANTONE Matching System colors used by offset printers.
