Graphic Identity Program

Identity Elements

WSU Alumni Association

The WSU Alumni Association uses a customized signature to recognize the unique relationship between the University's alumni and their alma mater.

The Alumni Association signature consists of two elements: the logotype, which is the words Washington State University set in the official ITC Stone Serif typeface, and the words Alumni Association set in Stone Serif Semibold italic, and the symbol, the traditional, freestanding Cougar head, composed of the letters W, S, and U arranged to form a Cougar head. The signature serves to identify the Alumni Association in all forms of communications, and its use preserves the integrity of the University's reputation for academic quality, innovation, and leadership in higher education.

Use only authorized artwork when reproducing the signature. This ensures proper and consistent size and space relationships between the signature elements.
