University Seal
The University Seal is the formal identifier of Washington State University. It consists of a silhouette of George Washington encircled by the words Washington State University and 1890, the year of the University's founding. The use of the Washington State University academic signature is preferred in all forms of communication. Use of the seal is restricted to official University documents, such as diplomas and high-level certificates and awards.
