Faculty-led programs
Faculty develop and operate education abroad programs specifically designed for
Washington State University students. Most are during the summer and range from
10 days to 8 weeks long, although there is a business program every spring and fall
semester, as well as other opportunities.
Exchanges
You have full immersion through enrollment at a foreign university for a semester or a year. Exchanges are sponsored by WSU or the International Student Exchange Program (ISEP). Space is limited.
Academic internships
Ranging from 2 weeks to 1 year and taking place in the summer, for a semester, or for a full year all over the world, most are unpaid. Advantages include credit towards your degree, availability of financial aid, and a wide variety of locations and subjects.
Study abroad providers
These programs are offered by outside organizations to create study opportunities during the summer, semester, or year. Most of these study-abroad programs offer admission on a first-come, first-served basis.
